About

me!

Greetings,

I'm Dr. Nitin Chopra, and I'm honored to share a bit about my journey that intertwines the worlds of literature and medicine, emphasizing the profound impact of words and healing.

My roots trace back to India, and it was during my formative years in Kyiv, Ukraine, that my career found its shape. Poetry, especially my love for Hindustani poetry, has been a constant source of inspiration, an ongoing endeavor to master the art with each verse. Although non-fiction wasn't my initial pursuit, life's haunting experiences led me to become an unexpected chronicler of some challenging moments.

"The Life of Tolka" emerged from one such challenging period. This recent book delves into a world plunged into darkness, revealing a journey that, in the aftermath of chaos, speaks to the resilience of the human spirit. It's a story that I hope will resonate with you and leave a lasting impact.

In 2016, I was humbled to receive the title of 'Youngest Poet of India,' a recognition that speaks to the power of words in connecting hearts. Additionally, I had the privilege of serving as a keynote speaker at Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas in 2016 at the Embassy of India in Kyiv.

My words aspire to inspire, heal, and transform, and my journey, both professionally and emotionally, is a continuous learning experience. I invite you to join me on this shared voyage where the beauty of words and the art of healing come together to shape a narrative that transcends individual experiences.

Thank You
